Highland places 10th in deep Harvest Classic field

Highland Trojans boys wrestling team finished 10th with 74 points in a competitive 16-team field at the Harvest Classic. The meet took place on December 6 during regular-season invitational action.

According to the results, the Trojans secured multiple podium finishes. Simon Martinez achieved fourth place at 138 pounds, and Landen Garrison also earned fourth at 157 pounds. Leo Velasco contributed with a seventh-place finish at 113 pounds, providing Highland early points in the lower weight categories. Chase Allison battled into sixth place at 120 pounds, while Kaeleb Mortimer rounded out the scoring with an eighth-place finish at 144 pounds. This gave Highland five podium wrestlers overall against a field that included top programs such as Hanover Central, Portage, and Hobart. The performance indicated continued lineup growth and depth for Highland as December competition intensifies.

The next event for the Highland Trojans is scheduled for December 17 when they will visit Lowell High School at 6:30 p.m.
