Highland junior Isabella Robledo continued her strong development this season, delivering a competitive campaign at 115 pounds while helping represent the Trojans throughout the girls wrestling postseason.
Robledo competed during the 2025-26 postseason series, advancing through the Illiana Christian Sectional before continuing competition at the Plymouth Regional against some of Indiana’s top wrestlers.
The junior finished the season with a 26-10 record and improved her career mark to 61-27, highlighting steady growth within Highland’s lineup. Robledo earned key victories throughout the year, including pins against Merrillville’s Lorielle Thomas and Penn’s Aurora Schrader, along with a decision win over Lake Central’s Genevieve Rogers. She also recorded a notable victory at 110 pounds against Merrillville’s Jaisha Tuggle, demonstrating versatility while competing across weight classes.
Throughout the season, Robledo faced several ranked opponents, including Lowell’s Alexia Utley, Illiana Christian’s Gabriella Costello and Indianapolis Cathedral’s Kendall Moe, gaining valuable experience against elite competition.
Her continued success reflects the progress of Highland’s girls wrestling program, as Robledo established herself as a dependable postseason competitor and a key returning piece heading into her senior season.
