Highland senior Jordan Steele closed her varsity basketball career as one of the program’s most impactful players, combining scoring ability, defensive pressure and leadership throughout four standout seasons with the Trojans.
Steele competed during the 2025-26 season at Highland High School in Highland, Indiana, helping lead the Trojans through a competitive Northwest Indiana schedule and postseason play.
The senior appeared in 25 games during her final campaign, averaging 22.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.8 steals per game while continuing to impact every area of the floor. Steele’s defensive presence consistently created transition opportunities, and her scoring production helped anchor Highland’s offense throughout the season. Across 97 varsity games in her career, she averaged 19.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 4.4 steals per contest, establishing herself as one of the program’s most consistent performers. Her progression was evident each year, growing from a freshman contributor into a dominant upperclassman who regularly led the Trojans in scoring and defensive intensity.
Steele earned multiple Player of the Game honors throughout her career, reflecting her ability to deliver strong performances in key moments while setting the tone for her teammates.
Her senior season marked the conclusion of a career defined by competitiveness, consistency and a lasting impact on Highland girls basketball.
