Highland’s varsity baseball team enters the upcoming season looking to build on a 17-14 campaign in 2025, when the Trojans finished 3-9 in Northwest Crossroads Conference play and placed sixth in the league standings.

The season took place during the spring of 2025 in Highland, Indiana, where the Trojans posted a 7-8 record at home, 7-5 on the road, and 3-1 at neutral sites.

Highland scored 177 runs while allowing 183, battling through a demanding schedule that included numerous close contests. Early in the year, the Trojans earned wins over Merrillville (13-9), Hammond Morton (9-0), and Whiting (6-0). In conference play, Highland secured key victories against Kankakee Valley, including a 3-1 home win and an 8-7 road decision. The team also recorded notable late-season wins over Michigan City (15-4), Morgan Township (4-2), and Kouts (1-0). Highland advanced in postseason play with dominant victories over Gary West Side (12-1), East Chicago Central (15-0).

With last season’s postseason run providing momentum, the Trojans will look to climb the conference standings and improve consistency this spring. Highland is scheduled to open the 2026 season on the road against Michigan City on March 30 at 5 p.m.
